Long Final
Welcome to Long Final training!
Are you stuck at level 4 due to your structural skills? Do you want to achieve level 5, but struggle with grammar?
Long Final was created to help you learn quickly and effectively the grammar that is essential for a level 5 candidate.Â
How does it work?
The training is divided into 5 lessons, each corresponding to one of the five parts of the AEPS exam.
The first 4 lessons make up the core of this training and correspond to the first part of the AEPS exam: Plain Language Test.
Lesson 5 deals with simulated flight. See the red box below “Radiotelephony course”.
In each lesson, you will find tips and tricks to improve your structure skills. In each topic, sentence structures in bold are linked to grammar flashcards that will teach you (or review) the essentials. To better utilize your study time, consider either reviewing the examples to reinforce specific concepts or going through the grammar flashcards directly. It is recommended that you first define your needs to maximize efficiency. Feel free to review only the notions that you feel uncomfortable with; it is not necessary to review all the flashcards. However, it is important to go through all the modules in order to receive complete preparation and achieve the level you aim for.
Radiotelephony course
The Long final training is aimed at candidates who have a good understanding of standard European phraseology. Several VFR and IFR scenarios are available in the 5th lesson to help candidates understand what is required during the exam.
For candidates with little or no practice in radiocommunication, AEPS has developed a specific course called Reading You Five (VFR or IFR), which is available for purchase on our e-learning platform. It is important to note that the simulated flight portion of the exam is a pass/fail section, and a failure will result in an overall exam failure regardless of your proficiency in other areas. We recommend taking the time to refresh your knowledge and practice before the exam.
