The Official AEPS FCL.055 Exam is a Comprehensive Assessment that includes:
- Linguistic Assessment (Part 1): Real-time, interactive assessment of your ability to express yourself in everyday and aviation-related English (Introduction, Reading Comprehension, Picture Description, Open Questions). This assesses your Pronunciation, Structure, Vocabulary, Fluency, Comprehension, and Interactions in a dynamic conversation.
- Operational Assessment (Part 2): A simulated flight scenario where your ability to use ICAO/EASA Standard Phraseology and clear Plain Language in a realistic operational environment is evaluated by two examiners (Linguistic and Operational Assessors).
- Is non-interactive. It cannot assess the dynamic, conversational, and real-time communication skills required for the official exam (Part 1).
- Cannot evaluate your ability to correctly use Standard Radiotelephony Communication and operational plain language in a stressful, simulated environment (Part 2).
