The examiners will ask you to give a number between 1 and 10. Once the number is chosen, the examiner will read the open question to you and you’ll need to answer. The examiner might interact more and continue the discussion further.
You should take about 2-3 minutes to answer but it depends on the questions.
REMINDER
This is an English language evaluation not a technical test – if you are given a technical question and your answer is not complete (for example, ‘what minimum instruments are necessary for IFR flight?’) this will not count against you, it is the quality of your English which is being evaluated not your technical knowledge.
